Intellectual Property Income Partner

Entrepreneurial boutique law firm is searching for an income partner specializing in intellectual property.

Ideal candidate should be a 10+ year attorney with enough portable quality business ($300,000+) to be self-sufficient.  Demonstrated legal talent is an absolute must for this position as is a proven ability to generate new clients and new matters from existing clients.  If you have any doubt whether you can achieve both of these results or need to be supervised regularly, you will not succeed in this position.

 This position requires a high degree of autonomy, client service, team work, and willingness to invest in building a practice.   The firm values culture greatly, so a team player willing to put the firm, its employees, and its clients first is an absolute requirement for this position.  In return, the firm will invest in the attorney’s professional development and help the attorney grow his/her book of business.  

Must have an intellectual property background and be able to handle matters from start to finish without supervision.  

Uncapped, Performance-Based Compensation 

 Attorney will be paid based on production (base compensation + formulaic bonus) and is eligible to qualify for limited sharing of firm profits.  The firm does not put any cap on compensation for high performers and offers three different compensation options based on individual strengths and roles within the firm.  

 Platform + Coaching

 The firm will provide attorney with a platform and all the resources necessary to further develop his/her law practice, including optional performance coaching and professional development.  As stated above, the firm values leadership, project management, and client relationship management and will invest resources in assisting attorneys to increase their skills in these areas.  

 Performance-Based Advancement Potential

 For select attorneys that have a proven ability to build and lead a high performing team that gets results, the firm provides an opportunity to participate greater in firm profit sharing as well as enhanced compensation.
